Why Vermeil?

THE LOOK OF GOLD. THE FOUNDATION OF SILVER.

Vermeil is a form of gold-finished jewellery that uses sterling silver as its base. WhiteCraze jewellery starts with 925 sterling silver and is finished with a substantial 2.5-micron layer of 18K gold.

In simple terms, WhiteCraze vermeil brings together a precious sterling-silver foundation with the warmth and richness of 18K gold. It allows us to create jewellery that looks refined, remains lightweight and fits naturally into everyday life.

What Makes WhiteCraze Vermeil Special?

  • 925 Sterling Silver Foundation — a precious-metal base rather than an ordinary base metal.
  • 18K Gold Finish — a warm, premium gold appearance.
  • 2.5-Micron Gold Layer — a substantial plating specification for our vermeil finish.
  • Lightweight Construction — a majority of our products are below 5 grams.
  • Lab-Grown Diamond Setting — diamond brilliance designed for everyday wear.
  • One-Year Plating Warranty — subject to the applicable warranty terms.

Caring for Vermeil

Vermeil is designed to be worn and enjoyed, but the gold surface is still a finish and can naturally change or wear over time depending on frequency of use, skin chemistry, environment and care.

  • Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, cosmetics and harsh chemicals.
  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering or intense exercise.
  • Store each piece separately in its pouch or box to minimise scratches and friction.
  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing materials that may affect the finish.
